Composite (BPA Free) Fillings and Veneers

Composite fillings have been available in dentistry for almost 50 years. They have been used as an alternative to silver/mercury fillings in response to patients’ esthetic and health concerns. However, composite fillings can affect your health due to bisphenols and aluminum content. Dr. Grieco utilizes your biocompatibility report to choose the best composite to use. Using top quality restorative materials from companies such as Voco, Dr. Grieco is able to restore small- to medium-sized tooth defects due to decay or fracture. Most patients are compatible with this material.

Porcelain Crowns, Onlays, Inlays, and Veneers

In some cases, a tooth may have more than one half of its structure diseased or missing due to decay or fracture. Coverage with porcelain is then necessary to restore the tooth to proper health, function, and esthetics. Dr. Grieco incorporates the use of a Trios digital scanner to help create the most accurate fit, durability, and function of the porcelain/ceramic restoration. Trios can take a digital photo/scan of the mouth without conventional impression material, and then send it directly to the dental lab for immediate fabrication of the restoration. The restoration is then cemented with a biocompatible resin or glass ionomer cement. In contrast to the customary three-week timeframe needed for a conventional mouth impression material, in most cases the scanner can offer a faster 1- to 2-day turnaround time.

Metal-Free Bridges

This time-tested treatment enables restoration of an area of missing teeth and the need for greater biting function. Stability is superior in comparison to a removable partial denture.

Implant Supported Dentures/Hybrid Dentures

Removable Partial Dentures

A less invasive and less expensive treatment to replace missing teeth.

Sleep Appliances, TMJ Splints and Bruxing Guards

You may be experiencing multiple issues from sleeping problems such as headaches, ringing in your ears, worn and sensitive teeth, and TMJ dysfunction. Dr. Grieco does a careful evaluation to determine what kind of occlusal orthotic device (splint) may be necessary, or may refer you to a network of various skilled specialists.

Teeth Whitening

You have the option of in-office, take-home, or a combination of both, to meet your whitening needs. More holistic and natural home remedies are discussed as well.

Single-Dose Oral Conscious Sedation/IV Sedation

Many people, maybe even you, have a fear of dental procedures. Our office uses conscious sedation using a single-dose sedative to give you a better experience during dental treatment. Sometimes, it is a necessary part of the treatment. In addition, we can utilize an outside service (Ambulatory Anesthesia Associates) to administer a more profound sedation for longer procedures.

Dr. Grieco and his team will discuss your options at your initial comprehensive interview, exam, review of findings, and consultation appointment.
